Raising your vibrations while travelling.

Everything in life is vibration.” –Albert Einstein

The more we travel, the more we take it for granted. Covid made us aware that nothing is sure, travel plans change, and freedom of travel can finish. When travel was so accessible, we forgot that it was still a privilege, and we should be grateful for each little trip we made. Travelling is a great way for raising positive vibrations and staying in a blissful state. We want to share some great activities while travelling in Italy that you could do to raise vibrations even more.

A vibration is a state of being, the atmosphere, or the energetic quality of a person, place, thought, or thing. When you are vibrating at a higher level, you feel lighter, happier, and more at ease, whereas lower vibrations feel heavy, dark, and confused.” @chopra.com

Gratitude: turn your attention to what you are thankful for at this moment (there is always something). While travelling through Italy, we love to spend the mornings in a local bar, enjoying a cup of cappuccino and lovely fresh cornetto. It is a great chance to slow down, enjoy your morning, say gratitude for all the good things in your life (like a chance to travel).  It is also a great time to do some journalling and write down all your thoughts and the things you appreciate.

Surround yourself with beauty, go for a walk and enjoy outside – Italy is called Bel Paese for a reason. The country is diverse, rich in art and history, and holds magnificent nature. So go and explore stunning piazzas and little narrow alleys. Do not focus only on the main attractions, but escape the crowds and hide in back streets and small market squares, where the locals hang out and enjoy themselves. If you travel by car, stop randomly in a small village or beautiful woods, and we are sure you will be captivated.

Disconnect from technology – forget about smartphones and laptops. Use a map to get around, or ask the locals. Technology is excellent, but it can steal the best moments from us. Stay in the present and enjoy what’s around you instead of scrolling for your next attraction.

Eat high vibe food – fresh, good quality ingredients are easy to find in Italy. Go to the local market, grab some fresh fruit and enjoy its delicious taste. It is a fun experience, surrounded by vibrant colours, active vendors, and pleasant aromas. Italians eat seasonal dishes to make sure all is fresh (picked at the height of their freshness) and produced in Italy. That’s why you can find a pumpkin, truffles, porcini only in the autumn months. When eating out at traditional restaurants, you’ll find that the menu items will coincide with the produce that’s in season. If not, you probably found a tourist trap. However, you do not have to always go to the restaurants; check out some local stands and small vendors. They sell the best delicacies.

Bonding activities are a great way to spend time with your loved ones. Make sure you find an enjoyable activity for all the family/group members. Hiking/ walking is a great way to stay together and discover the place. Italy offers beautiful mountains perfect for family hikes – such as the Dolomites. If you prefer the seaside, you can visit Amalfi Coast for great views and walking paths.

Cycling is another excellent way of staying together while having a bit of exercise. The bike lovers can explore Lake Garda with parks, beautiful hiking lanes, cycling routes and pretty villages. Alternatively, bike through the picturesque rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards that Tuscany is famous for.

There is no better way of bonding than a cooking class. Learn the traditional dishes and then enjoy the feast in a lovely setting. Another great skill to learn while you are in Italy, is a traditional artisan craft such as mosaic making in Rome, paper making in Florence and mask-making in Venice. Usually, they are offered by local artisans at their workshops. One of our favourite classes to do is a chocolate workshop at Perugina School of Chocolate, where chocolate lovers can experience unforgettable tastes. At this school, you can discover the secrets of chocolate-making, learn the techniques to create impressive masterpieces taught by Chocolate Masters.

Meditation and yoga became very popular in Bel Paese. Meditation and breathwork calm your nervous system, improve your mood, and bring about more significant peace feelings.

Also, yoga and general exercises are a great way to raise your vibrations and put yourself in great mood. Many hotels all over Italy offer yoga and meditation classes. Otherwise, we are happy to create a family or friends reunion/retreat for you and incorporate beautiful moments involving yoga practice, walks with locals, wine tasting and much more.

Hot springs – are great for relaxing, soaking and have benefits for health. You will find them in many Italian regions. Check our blog post to find the best place for you to enjoy the outdoors and raise positive vibes.

If you are looking for good vibrations and positivity, Italy is the perfect destination for you. You can enjoy all the activities that we mentioned in a splendid surrounding.

So make sure to incorporate some of experiences in your Italian travel, to get some harmony and positivity. While travelling, we tend to overload ourselves with places to see and things to do. Sometimes less is better.
