On Sunday we can take you to the biggest and most famous flee market in the city. Originally a second-hand market, today it boasts over 1000-stalls that sell just about everything you could imagine (old and new). For fashionistas and vintage style lovers we have two spots that can be of your interest.The first is where Romans bring furniture, clothing and accessories to be sold. The price of the merchandise in the market might seem high, but friendly negotiation is expected. The other market offers stalls selling the works of young artists and fashion stylists. This is a great spot to grab a coffee or a glass of wine and do some people watching. Then it's time to head to more traditional markets, the city's two best-known food markets. The first, located in a picturesque piazza (square) has stalls piled high with colourful fruits, vegetables and spices. Let’s grab a slice of pizza bianca and let the shopping begin. Next stop is Testaccio's famous street market located near Monte de Cocci. Here we will pause for a proper break and taste some of the local specialities.
